PUPPY START RIGHT PRESCHOOL
Prepare your puppy for a LIFETIME at your side! Early puppyhood is a critical time for socialization and learning. Experiences during this time set the stage for the rest of your puppy's life.
The best time to socialize your puppy is between 7 and 16 weeks of age.
All household members involved in the daily activity of the puppy are invited to attend. Puppies should be between 7 and 12 weeks of age when starting class and must be started on their vaccination series at least 10 days prior to starting class.
IN ADDITION TO IN-PERSON CLASSES, YOU CAN JOIN ME IN A ZOOM CLASS AT YOUR CONVENIENCE. The cost is $155 and includes: one-hour orientation video to be completed at your own pace, four puppy training classes and videos, and Puppy Start Right Preschool Overview.

Does your dog need to brush up on socialization and basic manners in public settings and around other dogs?
Help your dog be comfortable with novel sights, sounds, objects - and be able to focus on polite behaviors.
Introduce your dog to novel objects, people, sounds, and other dogs so that your partner is comfortable in various locations and in various roles. Sharpen your dog's behavior skills, such as come when called, walk politely on a leash, sit, down, relax, four feet on the floor, and leave it.
Learn how to conduct a successful therapy dog visit.
*Please note that you do not have to take the class in order to be tested for certification with The Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs Inc. (www.golden-dogs.org)

(Four-week dog training and puppy training courses to continue your pup on the correct paw to a happy life.
Where: Wylde Pups Gentle Dog Training, Endicott NY
When: Kindergarten - Mondays 4:30-5:30 pm; and Tuesdays 7:30-8:30 pm
Next Steps - Mondays 6-7 pm
Cost: $140 for 4 classes, for puppies 5 months of age and older. These are a modular classes: you may join at any time. )
We will teach the fundamental behaviors of a polite puppy: sit, down, wait, come when called, walk on a leash, four feet on the floor, relax on a mat, drop it, leave it. We will use a clicker or other marker and positive reinforcement to get the puppy to offer the behaviors we want to see repeated.

AKC Puppy S.T.A.R and CGC

Enroll in the above classes and earn these awards/titles for your dog.
AKC S.T.A.R.PUPPY PROGRAM
Puppies less than 1 year of age who have completed 6 weeks of training classes.

"When you complete a basic training class (taught by an AKC Approved CGC Evaluator) with your puppy (up to 1 year old) your puppy is eligible to be enrolled in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. You'll attend any basic or puppy training class at least 6 weeks. Your instructor will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test at the end of the course. Upon passing the test, you'll get an application to send to AKC® for enrollment in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. All dogs are welcome to participate in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program including purebreds and mixed breeds."
AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZEN PROGRAM
From the AKC website http://www.akc.org/dog-owners/training/canine-good-citizen/:
"Responsible Owners, Well-Mannered Dogs.... In CGC, dogs who pass the 10 step CGC test can earn a certificate and/or the official AKC CGC title. Dogs with the CGC title have the suffix, "CGC" after their names."
